Apple formerly sold the products through online stores such as Flipkart and Amazon before launching this venture. The online store offers assistance from the Apple specialists, where customers can chat directly with the experts for any queries and information.
Apple has tailored its approach just enough to fit into the Indian market. For example, take the case of the availability of customer service in Hindi and English.
Apple India is also offering a direct personal session with online specialists to discover all the new Apple product features and get help with services like custom-configuring Macs.
India loves its festivals, and with celebration comes the season of gifts. Apple knows this fun fact about India, and they are now coming up with the idea of customized signature wrapping and personalized engraving on their apple products. While customers can engrave Ipads and Apple pencils in English, customers can engrave AirPods in multiple Indian languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, and many other Indian languages. Apple sure knows how to get Indians to flaunt!
Here is how Apple E-Store is wow’ing India
- Trade-ins: The store provides Trade-ins where the customers can exchange their old phones for a new iPhone. In this pandemic situation, the company offers a free with no contact delivery of the latest devices.
However, in its statement, the technology giant clarified that “You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to trade-in. Not all devices are eligible. Trade-in values are conditional upon the received device matching the details you provided when the estimate was made and subsequent verification at collection. Apple reserves the right to refuse or limit the quantity of any device for any reason,”

Inclusive Payment Methods: The store provides multiple payment modes for customers, including EMI, credit card, debit card, credit card EMI, Rupay, UPI, net banking, and even credit card on delivery. The cherry on the cakes includes 6% cash back on purchases made through HDFC bank credits, and this offer is available until October 6th of 2020.
3. Youth, ahoy! : We know how important it is for a technology company to take care of its young users, and Apple knows how to bank this in. Apple has come up with discounts for college and school going customers. They are offering an extended warranty program AppleCare+ and offering these discounts limited not just for students but can be used by the lecturer, staff, and parents of the students.
Apple announced the new online store in India after the Indian government started relaxing the FDI guidelines providing relaxation on local sourcing norms.
“As Covid-19 presents immense challenges and uncertainties for communities across the country, Apple’s teams are supporting local organizations to provide remote learning with study guides and curricula.”
In its statement, Apple continued to underline the impact of the pandemic and announced that the orders would be delivered contactless, ensuring a secure bio bubble throughout the transaction.
